Lead Singer Still Recovering From Unanimous Rejection
For those unfamiliar with the widely popular jewish rock/folk/klezmer/motown
band known as "Justice on a Stick," it is a group of 8 Brandeis kids with
incredible talent on our instruments, using that talent for the benefit of
humanity. However, this "Brandeis Band" has never had a drummer or a lead
singer. Many talented vocalists have auditioned for the job, but no one was
quite up to par with the musical ability of the band as a whole. Until one day,
an ex-rapper code-named "49 Cent" wanted to bring his vocal ability to JOAS.
49 Cent
Already a member of Brandeis AZA, 49 Cent met all requirements of the job of
lead singer, except the one crucial guideline of a working short-term memory.
49 Cent kept forgetting whether or not he actually was the lead singer of the
ever-growing-in-popularity JOAS, and therefore was forced into the position of
constantly badgering the bandleader for an answer, to which the incredibly
athletic and musculur bandleader finally decided to let the potential lead
singer go, for the sake of his own mental stability.
The myth of the JOAS Drummer, however, still goes unsolved. There seem to never
be any potential candidates. Apparantly a Jewish teenage drummer is as real as
the tooth fairy, santa claus, or hanukah harry. One candidate claimed to be
Jewish, but has roots in South Africa. South African Fro This led the band to doubt his religious
affiliations, in addition to his massive afro. And thus the mystery of the JOAS
Drummer continues.
Sincerely,
Groupee #472 of JOAS
