Editors Note: Hello again friends, it is I, your good friend Justin Blaufeld. Now you might be asking yourself, "Why can't I breathe?" Well as soon as you take your d*** out of your mouth you will find yourself asking.... yourself another question, "What the heck are the minutes doing on the Brunion??". Well our quiet friend Ron Golan, website chair turns out to also be lazy. I worked hard late into the night to get the minutes done super early. It has been over 50 hours and still nothing up. Rather than letting him make an ass out of me, I've decided to cut my nose to spite my face and post them up on the brunion. So here you go:

Minutes for Meeting of January 11, 2004

Meeting starts at 7:09 PM, with 17 Members and 2 advisors

Regional Convention

Kevin Landsman: “RC is what you make of it, spirit was good, we went ‘commando’ with the whole Brandeis on stomach thing”

Council Communications

Joshua Towbin: “Shull of the month is going to be better than ever.  This month it’s at American University on this coming Friday.  All should attend; it’s a good way to see Jewish college life first hand”

Chapter Communications

Programming committee Applications are due January 18th

Martin Luther King Day:  So far eight people are coming to see the Wizards with Shalom.  Tickets are $14.00, and we will meet at Grovesner at 11:45 AM for the 1:00 PM game.  We should be home by 5:00 PM.  Metro will most likely cost $4.20 round trip, bring 5.00 just in case.

Exec Board Meeting:  January 22nd at Ben Wolff’s house.  ALL should attend if you have programming ideas and outlines, because this is where stuff gets put on the calendar.  It’s a great way to get involved with the chapter.

Super Bowl Program:  February 1st at Ron’s house.  Try to bring people interested in joining; it’s a great program for introducing AITs to the chapter.

Viva la Revolution:  Went well, skits were good.

Committee Reports

Kohen Godol Joshua Towbin: “I am here if you need me, if you have any questions, please see me”

Shotare Godol Scottman Posilkin: “The door’s new name is ‘Camel Toe Corner’.  Give me a topic and I will relate it to a camel.  Here is a picture of Adam as a Camel.  There will be a camel quiz every week on camels, if you win you get Dunken Doughnuts”

Shotare Kotone Michael Freedman: (wasn’t present)

Sopher Kevin Landsman: “Ledger looks good.  Every week there will be a movie idea from yours truly.  This week it’s ‘Trouble in the South Pacific’.  I still need an article from Lax and Wolff.  Write me an article, my email address is Age6racer@verizon.net

Gizbore Ronald Golan:”Shirts are still on sale.  You can get a Brandeis ‘Kosher Beef’   for $10.00, a ‘Lazy A’ shirt for $12.00, or two for only $20.00.  We’re going to sell raffle tickets at meetings, with cool prizes.”

Corresponding Mazkirim: James Cooper “Tell us if you’re not getting called”

Brian Learner: “No report”

Recording Mazkir Justin Blaufeld: “Thank you note is done for menorah; I will work on the thank you note for Mason’s uncle ASAP.  Still debating weather or not to have Pimp Points, maybe I’ll flip a coin (express your opinion to me, should I/shouldn’t I?).  Calling is important, now the first mazkir to finish his list will get a prize every week.”

Shliach Sam Potasznik: not present

Morim: Jason Harris “I’m going to call more AITs, make sure they stay active, make sure you talk to AITs, get them involved, ect.”

Adam Susser “Don’t say what your moreh did/didn’t do in front of AITs, they need to know to follow the rules so they no to be a part of the organization

S’gan Benjamin Wolff: “Congratulations to Kevin for the good program.  Excited about the exec board meeting in two weeks, there sounds like there are a lot of good programs”

Advisors:  Jeffery Freedman: “Don’t sit on the table.  Godol needs to call earlier at night.  Super Bowl programs are good; the first one was when the Skins went to the Super Bowl in the 80s.”

Daniel Clemet: “I’m going to be a dick this term.  If communications ever change during the course of the week CALL ME.  The point is last term could have been better, and partially because I was more laid back.  Work hard for awards.  I want to push the new board.  The most important thing of all is members.  We need more members, more AITs, get everyone you know.”

Godol Adam Lax: “I want to see more respect, especially for people running programs, try to put your self in their shoes.  You can have fun but if they need quite give it to them.  Respect the sweethearts, don’t be jerks when they don’t bring food.”
