Where's the Creme Filling?
Hmm..I was thinking the other day (yes, hard to believe I know). I knew I must write an article for the Brunion again..but on what topic I pondered? After thinking about Brandeis and all of the fine people associated with it, my mind came upon one man: Mr. Ronald (Youp) Golan. Immediately I knew where to go with my article: White kids who think they're black. Now, I admit there are some white kids that can get away with the "cracker" image..mainly because they are trailer trash. But lets not go there, shall we? So, the focus of this article is on the white kids like Ron who fully support and back the Rap industry even though the music is not aimed in any way towards them. They are your typical upper class white kids who wear Polo brand clothing and have three meal courses at night with their families discussing their every day lives and politics with the "kitchen Tv" playing Friends in the background. Now you might expect such white kids like this to spend time with other upper-class white kids like themselves (maybe even paler) and maybe play a nice game of Cricket or Parcheesi. But alas, the aforementioned is not the case. Instead, these white kids spend their time memorizing lyrics about "niggaz that wanna die" and "poppin' a cap in whitey's ass". As a result, they start to feel like they are a part of a big community that they are not. Soon, they start to live the "lifestyles of the rich and the famous", wearing Roca Wear brand clothing to school or spending more time listening to the new Outkast jam on their iPod (Hey, it is featuring 50 afterall). Well, I say we normal white kids who appreciate sanity and the need to stay within the racial boundries set up by society should not let this stand. We should not let the rap industry take fine Jews like Mr. Ron away from the comfortable rap-free environment they must surely have once lived in. What kind of treatment can we set upon them? Well first you will obviously need to start them off slow with some "radio rock"..such as "Green Day" or "Blink 182". You can then gradually start to move them up in levels until they can find themselves comfortably listening to and enjoying such musical selections as Dream Theater or System of a Down. It may be a stretch, but it's all we've got. If worst comes to worst, you can always tie them down to a chair and make them listen to the "good stuff". Anyway, I must be off..Hot 99.5 is playing Lil' John's newest jump. ![]() Your average 'White African American' |
